The SunLink team currently includes more than 80 full time employees, and our management team is led by Michael Maulick, SunLink’s President and CEO.
His experience includes tenures as CEO of three international technology companies, a 20-plus year career in engineering and sales executive management at IBM, and private and public board service — most notably as Independent Director for the IPO of Rackable Systems (Nasdaq:RACK). He currently serves on the Board of Renasar Technologies and as Secretary of the Solar Energy Industry Association.
Excluding public companies, Michael has arranged almost $200M of financial backing and completed multiple M&A activities. Prior to joining SunLink, he served as Managing Director of Maulick Capital, an investment and consulting firm that he founded in January of 2009. His initial exposure to solar came as a board member for XE Solar, a concentrator and tracking company.
Martin Lynch serves as SunLink’s COO. Prior to SunLink, he was responsible for worldwide engineering program management and operations at the $250M VC-funded commercial solar module manufacturer Beamreach Solar. He also previously held worldwide engineering and operations executive roles at Xicato, where he led the product strategy of integrating intelligent IoT systems and power regulation into commercial LED light modules, and 2Wire (now Arris International), a world leader in DSL gateway communications where he expanded operations to meet 100 percent annual growth culminating with the sale of 2Wire for $475M. Lynch also served as a VP Engineering at Fortune 500 HDD manufacturer Maxtor.
John Eastwood, SunLink’s founder, continues to play a role in the company. Over the course of his career, John has accumulated more than 50 years of alternative energy experience as the founder of start-ups in hydro, wind and solar focused on product development, sales and all aspects of project financing.
